Roaming Terms & Conditions

  • Trac-King shall not be under any liability (including liability for negligence) for any loss or damage or injury to the client or any third party, or any loss of or damage to any vehicle in which a unit is fitted, arising out of the provision of the roaming service or otherwise, whether direct, indirect, consequential or contingent and whether foreseeable or not, and in particular shall not be liable for financial loss or loss of profits, contracts, business, anticipated savings, use or goodwill, arising out of the provision of the roaming services or the supply or functioning of a unit, or any alleged deficiency in that regard.
  • The client acknowledges that having data roaming activated on their devices may expose them to high data and SMS charges.
  • The client has been made aware that the vehicle does not necessarily have to be out of the country for roaming charges to apply. Should the vehicle be within Zimbabwe but receives stronger signals from cell towers out of Zimbabwe, the unit will lock on to these towers and start "roaming."
  • The client agrees to pay all data roaming charges within 14 days of receiving a roaming invoice. This invoice will be made up of the actual roaming charges from the service providers as well as a 12.5% administration and facilitation fee. If the Fee has not been settled within 14 days then roaming will be deactivated and interest charged at Trac-King's Commercial overdraft rate plus 3%.
  • The client is aware that there are a number of things out of Trac-King's control for the successful delivery of roaming. These include roaming partnerships being in place between the provider installed in the units and the countries visited. It requires the vehicle to be within a working network and for all links to be working between the various service providers.
  • The client is aware that roaming is potentially an expensive add on given someone may maliciously set out to use that simcard for other purposes than tracking and run up a large bill that the client will then be liable for.
